About The Position
The Residential Electrician (Mechanic) plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within residential properties. This position requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and mechanical systems to deliver high-quality workmanship that meets client expectations and regulatory requirements. The electrician will collaborate closely with homeowners, contractors, and other tradespeople to diagnose electrical issues, implement effective solutions, and upgrade existing systems as needed. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical challenges while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. Requirements
- Valid Site Safety Training (SST) certification and OSHA 30.
- Proven experience working as a residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- 3-to-5 years’ experience with residential electrical systems

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in residential buildings according to local electrical codes and safety standards.

- Collaborate with homeowners and contractors to assess electrical needs, provide estimates, and recommend upgrades or improvements.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and safety protocols, conducting thorough inspections and testing upon completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project to support billing and compliance documentation.
