We are looking for a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right person will be comfortable troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical control systems.
Requirements
- High school degree, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Two plus years working in an industrial maintenance technician role
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Nice To Haves
- Basic welding/fabrication skills
- PLC Troubleshooting experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose electrical control problems, motors, starters, relays, sensors, switches, and control circuits
- Troubleshoot PLC's, VFDs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Repair and maintain presses, production machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors and other industrial equipment
- Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters and meters
- Identify the root cause of equipment installation, modification, and improvements
- Maintain a safe, and clean and organized work area
