About The Position

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling production machines used at the plant. This role involves troubleshooting manual and CNC equipment, maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, and performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair work.

Requirements

2+ years vocational training or a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a related maintenance field.
Electrical Certification is REQUIRED!
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints, correspondence and memos.
Prior maintenance troubleshooting experience with production equipment.
Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
Knowledge of programmable logic controls.
Work with voltage of 240v-480v.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots all manual and CNC equipment to identify problems and perform repairs.
Maintains detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair work on plant equipment and CNCs.
Diagnoses and troubleshoots motor controls on 3-phase equipment and control circuits.
Helps initiate equipment procedures when updates have been instigated.
Repairs equipment by removing defective parts, replacing with new or usable parts, and testing to see if repair was adequate.
Identifies parts needed for repair and gets quotes to purchase the parts.
Relocates machinery when needed.
Makes repairs to various units within the plant such as heating, cooling, and test equipment.
