Evening Electrical Maintenance Technician

About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring all equipment is in safe operating condition before returning it to production. The technician will test the effectiveness of all repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of the facility, equipment, and procedures. Documentation of task completion according to department standards and communication of changes and important information to the Manager or Lead are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the technician will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, ensure work centers adhere to 5S discipline, and fabricate equipment or components in compliance with Management of Change standards. Adherence to and enforcement of all applicable Environment, Health and Safety, ISO, Food Safety, and GMP policies and procedures, as well as reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors, are required. The role also involves Risk Assessment and NRTHA (Non-routine task hazard analysis).

Requirements

  • Maintenance experience required.
  • Must be able to competently operate automation, assembly and molding equipment.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to identify root cause and corrective action.
  • Must be safety and quality conscious at all times.
  • Must be familiar with the operation of injection molding machines, robots, assembly lines, support systems.
  • Office 360 applications knowledge (intermediate-advanced).
  • Production environment experience.
  • Must have excellent attendance.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willing to step in with a hands-on approach when facing periods of uncertainty or change.

Responsibilities
