About The Position
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager; this position will be responsible for maintenance activities within the department. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines, buildings, forklifts and overhead cranes and for preventative maintenance of plant and production equipment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Electrical Experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to communicate effectively, written, and oral.
- Team-oriented and work well in a busy workplace.
Responsibilities
- Apply electrical theory to test and troubleshoot machinery and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
- Plan, direct, and record maintenance standards.
- Recommend or initiate modification or replacement of faulty equipment.
