The Maintenance Technician is focused on repairs of components and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. Requirements

Strong experience diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling electrical systems on high‑speed production machinery.
Hands‑on experience with PLCs, drivers, sensors, motors, and industrial control systems.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with troubleshooting capability.
Experience using CMMS systems for electrical and controls maintenance documentation.
Strong attendance record and willingness to work various shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Own the electrical, controls, and automation performance of multiple automated production machines used in glass manufacturing.
Observe machine operation, monitor control systems, and ensure proper function of PLCs, drivers, sensors, and motors.
Diagnose electrical faults, trace wiring issues, interpret schematics, and identify root causes of machine malfunctions.
Repair or replace electrical components, sensors, relays, drivers, and control devices; perform calibration and functional testing.
Perform mechanical repairs as needed to support electrical and controls functionality.
Stop machines when electrical or controls malfunctions are detected and perform corrective actions safely and efficiently.
