Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical maintenance practices and industrial equipment systems.

  • Ability to lead and motivate electrical maintenance teams to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and alignment of industrial mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
  • Strong ability to schedule work, manage resources, and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Clear and effective communication with team members, contractors, and plant management.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to details.
  • Knowledge of automation and automation control strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance scheduling tools required.
  • Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance programs.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
  • Journeyman-level certification.
  • Understanding of site maintenance work management systems and processes.
  • Ability to Navigate Oracle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the frontline execution of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities.
  • Directly supervise plant electricians and instrumentation technicians.
  • Translate strategic plans into safe, daily tactical operations across various plant areas (kiln, mills, quarry, shipping, packing).
  • Ensure strict adherence to NFPA 70E (Arc Flash) and MSHA safety standards.
  • Oversee Lock-Out, Tag-Out, Try-Out (LOTOTO) procedures for high-voltage and automated equipment.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs.
  • Oversee the calibration of sensors and transmitters.
  • Minimize electrical downtime through high-quality workmanship.
  • Ensure the facility's complex electrical infrastructure remains reliable, efficient, and compliant.
