Christman Facility Solutions is looking for an Electrical Lead to join our Dallas, Texas region.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) or more years of commercial electrical experience -or- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
  • Current State issued Journeyman Electrical License, or able to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Ability to interpret and understand blue-prints, schematics, and label.
  • Working knowledge of codes and local ordinances.
  • Must maintain a current state-issued Journeyman Electrical License.

Nice To Haves

  • First-Aid/CPR with AED
  • Qualified to operate trenchers and aerial man lifts
  • Experience with power tools, saws, drills, knockout punches, wire tuggers, pipe benders, cable cutters
  • Able to operate (2) handed tools

Responsibilities

  • Assists licensed Journeyman and Foreman by performing tasks in a lead role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of trade skills and work alongside crew to install a quality product according to plans and specifications.
  • Performs layout and pre-plan daily to procure materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assists crew in wire pulls and with installation and wiring of receptacles, switching devices and lighting.
  • Demonstrates proper use and care of tools and equipment and maintains company issued tools and PPE in good working order.
  • Returns damaged tools for repair or replacement and keeps secure against theft or loss.
  • Follows all Christman policies and procedures; ensures compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Keeps immediate working area clean.
  • Must follow material procedures.
  • Identifies and reports safety hazards.
  • Takes all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Possesses a working knowledge and understanding of phase conductors, conduit fill, conductor ampacity / de-rating, and voltage drop calculations.
  • Trained and experienced to work on or in proximity to energized electrical parts or circuit conductors with necessary approvals and permits.
