About The Position
OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting high-rise residential and commercial projects across the lower mainland. We are looking for a dynamic Journeyperson Electrician committed to safety and teamwork to join our growing team as a key member on the tools, both mentoring apprentices and assisting foremen, in order to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients. We are expanding to Victoria and looking for people to join us on Vancouver Island.
Requirements
- Journeyperson Electrician ticket (Red Seal an asset)
- Experience working on high rise and/or commercial new construction projects
- Good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirements
- Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities
- Installing electrical equipment based on blueprints and in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code specifications
- Connecting wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
- Terminating wiring in generators, transfer switches, and junction devices
- Observing functions of installed equipment to detect hazards and the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement
- Testing continuity of circuits to ensure integrity and safety
