About The Position
As an Electrical Integration Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027, your responsibility will be to work alongside Oshkosh Electrical Integration & V&V (Verification and Validation) Engineers, assisting with projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of Engineering, all while making a tangible impact on the world around you.
Requirements
- Student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related degree
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027

Responsibilities
- Support Electrical and Software Engineers in the design and integration of vehicle control/embedded systems development
- Follow project on the assembly floor for prototype, pilot, or production build and provide technical assistance
- Learn vehicle troubleshooting and effective documentation skills
- Consult with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to find solutions to problems
- Learn and execute test cases to validate functionality, performance, and safety-critical behavior of embedded systems.
- Learn and verify communication across CAN, LIN, and Ethernet networks using tools like Vector CANoe, DET, CANalyzer, or ETAS INCA.
- Log, document, and triage software defects, collaborating with developers and system engineers for resolution.
