The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the installation and calibration of instruments, installation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, interpreting P&IDs and wiring diagrams, reading and examining engineering drawings, performing predictive and preventive maintenance including function checks of control loops, installing and maintaining plant lighting infrastructure, replacing and aligning electric motors, and installing and maintaining Safety Instrumented Systems. This role requires knowledge of the National Electric Code and Lanxess procedures to ensure Right-first-time installation and repairs. The technician will also recommend process improvements to increase safety, reduce environmental issues, and increase equipment OEE.
