Inframark is looking for an Electricial Instrumentation Technician. Salary range is $40-50/hr depending on level of experience. Under the general direction of Project Manager and/or Lead Operator, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the wastewater/water treatment plant electrical/instrumentation equipment, pump station electrical/instrumentation equipment and performs related work as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Valid CA Driver’s License and the ability to meet risk management guidelines is required.
Minimum 2 years operational experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Working experience of a 460V 3-phase systems, PLC controls, computer SCADA systems, open and close loop controls, preventive/corrective maintenance tasks, calibration of plant instrumentation.
Working experience with both power and control circuits.
Working experience to effectively read electrical wiring and ladder schematics.
Must have knowledge of SCADA instrumentation and controls.
Familiarity and adherence to all environmental and safety compliance regulations.
Ability to work independently and prioritize work activities.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, and familiarity with MP2 maintenance programs.
Candidate must obtain a CWEA Electrical & Instrumentation Technologist Grade 1 Certification.

Nice To Haves

Completion of Apprenticeship Program and/or Vocational Degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment malfunctions.
Will have the ability to react to unplanned events and emergency situations.
Inspect and calibrate plant equipment.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment according to manufacturers’ and UW recommended Best Maintenance Practices.
Install various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices and observe safe work practices.
Performs general administration and maintenance of plant SCADA equipment including HMI and PLC equipment.
