About The Position

This role ensures plant electrical and instrumentation systems are safely inspected, maintained, and repaired to support reliable operations and minimize production downtime.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical trade school education or equivalent hands‑on training and experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • At least 3 years of direct electrician experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently, respond to call‑outs, and work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Electrician certification
  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, voltages, inductive devices, fault interruption, and distribution
  • Experience using measuring devices and working with analog sensors
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
  • Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Work with motors, motor starters, controllers, inverters, switchgear, lighting, and circuits up to 4160V
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, valves, transmitters, controllers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently and safely
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Complete work orders, inspections, documentation, and parts requests using company systems
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment safely
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
