About The Position
This role focuses on GMP Calibration and Controls within an industrial setting. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, motors, control circuits, and various instrumentation. Key tasks include calibration, loop checks, working with HVAC controls, and managing calibration records. The position also involves coordinating contractors for electrical and controls projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience working in an Industrial setting with similar equipment
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Electrical and GMP Calibration and Controls
- Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and individually
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Experience coordinating contractors for electrical and controls work
Responsibilities
- Industrial electrical troubleshooting
- Working with motors, starters, relays, heaters, control circuits, and disconnects
- Maintaining Eurotherm and similar temperature controllers
- Servicing thermocouples, RTDs, pressure instruments, transmitters, and switches
- Performing instrument calibration and loop checks
- Interpreting electrical schematics and control drawings
- Supporting HVAC controls, room-pressure instrumentation, and air-balancing
- Troubleshooting process-control and utility systems
- Managing calibration records, out-of-tolerance documentation, and GMP work orders
- Coordinating contractor activities for electrical and controls work
