About The Position

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist in the preparation and review of E & I estimates in various industries including Advanced Generation, Battery Storage, Utility Solar, Fuel & Natural Resources/Process, and Water & Wastewater. You will be responsible for understanding design scope, developing quantities, applying productivity rates to determine manhours, and assisting in the maintenance of the estimating database. The role also involves working with the estimating team to create process efficiencies, preparing and presenting estimates to management, updating and maintaining historical data, and traveling to active projects to perform audits.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
