As part of Veolia’s Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) Engineering team, the Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer collaborates with a cross-functional engineering team to execute custom project designs that meet customer expectations and quality, schedule, and budget requirements while mitigating project risks. This is a senior role involving electrical and/or instrumentation design for a wide range of water technologies and complex projects. The engineer also acts as a technical lead and mentors new and junior team members, with the possibility of leading an EI&C engineering team on large, complex projects. The role includes instrument selection and documentation, automatic valve lists and datasheets, instrument installation details, electrical panel design and schematics, I/O lists, VFD and starter selection, production facility support, participation in customer-facing factory acceptance tests, and assistance during commissioning. The engineer may travel occasionally (15%) for client meetings, customer site visits, and visits to other Veolia offices. The work arrangement is hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
