This role involves assisting and performing work on various control systems including electro/pneumatic/hydraulic/digital/Drive systems and related equipment across all work areas. The technician will apply knowledge of electrical theory, instrumentation, and control logic for automated systems (PLC, DCS, Drive systems) to troubleshoot production equipment. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, maintaining equipment records, supporting the operation of valves, cylinders, motors, and distribution systems, and assisting higher-level technicians and engineers. The role also involves supporting apprentices, operating lifts, adhering to safety policies (NFPA-70E), participating in fire safety training, and serving as a member of the Industrial Fire Team. Additionally, the technician will assist with system start-ups, documentation, and other related duties.
