About The Position

The Electrical Installer 2 installs and tests conveyor systems and related structures and equipment at job sites across the continental United States. The role involves extensive, frequent, and extended travel. The installer works with engineered drawings, maintains a high degree of safety awareness, communicates effectively, takes direction, and may help lead less experienced locally hired personnel. OSHA 10 certification must be acquired upon hire.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• High degree of safety awareness.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and task-oriented.
• Good communication skills and willingness to take direction.
• Must be able to acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites anywhere in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be open to frequent and extended travel across the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or equivalent experience; technical degree or specialized training preferred.
• Some computer experience, including basic emailing, spreadsheet input, and report input.

Responsibilities

• Craft conveyor systems and assemble components.
• Install header steel and erect platform and structural steel.
• Set up conveyors and install guard rails and racks.
• Install air piping made of aluminum, copper, and black iron.
• Detail and test installed equipment.
• Help lead less experienced locally hired personnel.
