About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Technician to lead field installations of electrical controls equipment for automation systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic project environments and enjoys coordinating complex, multi‑month installations from kickoff through commissioning. You will work closely with subcontractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of NEC codes and UL 508A requirements
• Valid passport and willingness to travel

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing controls installation technicians preferred
• Strong experience with Ethernet installation and troubleshooting preferred
• At least 1 year of experience as a Lead Controls Technician preferred
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subcontractors during electrical controls installation projects
• Manage installation activities across all project phases, from planning through commissioning
• Coordinate preparation, sequencing, and timely delivery of installation materials (cabling, devices, etc.) to support project schedules and maximize team efficiency
• Manage and improve custom electrical bracketry to reduce part variation, lower costs, and simplify installation
• Support the controls engineering team or electromechanical assembly as needed when not on-site
• Assist with the development and documentation of installation standards and best practices
