The Stationary Equipment Technician ensures safe, efficient operation of airport equipment through maintenance, repairs, and inspections. WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A STATIONARY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary equipment, including baggage systems, conveyor belts, and HVAC systems Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, repairing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues promptly Collaborate with the Stationary Equipment Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation per maintenance schedules Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive tasks Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and use of PPE Assist in the installation and commissioning of new or modified equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards Participate in on-call schedules to address after-hours equipment issues and ensure continuous availability Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
