About The Position

The Electrical/HVAC Technician performs HVAC operations, preventative maintenance, and repair throughout the warehouse. This role provides essential maintenance support to ensure operational objectives are met and involves basic troubleshooting and repair of industrial mechanical/HVAC and electrical systems as needed.

Requirements

• Professional License/Certification Required
• Must have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Must have three to five years of experience or educational background.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements exerting 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and or 1-20 lbs. of force constantly.
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Frequently required to stand; walk; push; pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel and crouch.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. Either naturally or with the aid of eyeglasses.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• PLC’s and HVAC Andover Systems and electrical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs and services control wiring.
• Install electrical wiring.
• Service and perform repairs as necessary on HVAC unit computers, heating, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
• Operate computer systems for HVAC units. (Andover software)
• Monitor HVAC unit computers.
• Maintains repair records.
• Performs other job related duties and special projects as needed.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
