About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper in Laredo, Texas. The role assists commercial electricians with various tasks and material handling. The helper properly mounts and installs assigned conduit, wires, and strapping as directed, assists with wire pulls and other duties assigned by a supervisor, and works from all types of ladders. Compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures is required. Travel may be required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States full-time without current or future employer sponsorship. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Texas Apprentice Electrical License, one year of experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must have OSHA 10 or be able to obtain it and successfully pass a post-offer background check and drug test; an MVR check is required when job responsibilities involve operating motor vehicles.

Requirements

One year of experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Texas Apprentice Electrical License.
OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.
