About The Position
IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper in Richmond, Virginia. The role assists commercial electricians with varied tasks and material handling, including mounting and installing assigned conduit, wires, and strapping as directed, and assisting with wire pulls and other duties assigned by a supervisor. The position works from all types of ladders and requires compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures. Travel may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Employment is contingent on passing a post-offer background check and, when driving is part of the responsibilities, an MVR check.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.
- Pass a post-offer background check.
- Pass an MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
- Be authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
