About The Position

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Electrical Helper in Auburn, Alabama. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship. The helper will assist commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling, properly mounting and installing assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed. They will also assist in wire pulls and other duties as directed by a supervisor and will work from all types of ladders. Compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures is required. Travel may be required.

Requirements

6 months or less recent electrical field experience
High School Diploma/GED
OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities
