About The Position
IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper in Pecos, Texas. This position involves assisting commercial electricians by performing various tasks and material handling, including mounting and installing conduit, wires, and strapping, as well as assisting in wire pulls and other duties as directed by a supervisor. The role requires working from all types of ladders and strict compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Travel may be required for this position.
Requirements
- 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check
- Successfully pass MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
- Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed
- Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor
- Works from all types of ladders
- Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
