About The Position
JAD Electrical is seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Helper to support our lead mechanics and technicians on residential and commercial jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the electrical trade and learn from experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Some experience in the electrical field preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow under senior electricians
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, in crawl spaces, and other physical environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Nice To Haves
- Prior residential or commercial electrical exposure
- OSHA 10 certification
- Ability to read basic plans or diagrams
Responsibilities
- Assist lead mechanics with installations, repairs, and service work
- Pull wire, run conduit, install devices, and support rough and finish electrical tasks
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow direction from senior electricians and learn proper techniques
- Support accurate documentation, material tracking, and job site setup/breakdown
- Represent JAD Electrical with professionalism at all times
