About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Electrical Helper to assist our Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices, and Foremen on commercial and industrial construction projects. In this entry-level role, you will support daily jobsite operations by handling materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and assisting with basic electrical installation tasks under direct supervision. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in the electrical trade. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous construction or electrical experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to safely use basic hand tools and follow verbal and written instructions. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe after hire.
  • Must possess a basic set of hand tools appropriate for helper-level work. Power tools and metering equipment are provided by the company.
  • Ability to pass drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Journeymen, Apprentices, and Foremen with daily electrical installation activities while following instructions and company procedures.
  • Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and electrical materials throughout the jobsite.
  • Assist with measuring, drilling, mounting supports, pulling wire, assembling conduit, and installing electrical components under direct supervision.
  • Maintain, clean, and properly store company tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient jobsite operations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and PPE requirements. Participate in weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings.
  • Assist with organizing and tracking jobsite materials and notify supervisors of damaged or missing materials.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn electrical installation techniques, jobsite safety practices, and proper tool usage while developing the skills necessary to advance within the company.
  • Work cooperatively with all crew members while maintaining a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
