About The Position

Reyco's career path is clear: Helper, Apprentice, Mechanic, then Service Tech or Foreman. We hire at the entry level and promote from within. If you're new to the trade or working toward your journeyman license, this is where you start. Reyco pays your apprenticeship fees so you can earn while you learn.

Requirements

  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn the trade
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work full-time in the field, lift 50 lbs, and work at heights
  • Willing to enroll in a state-registered apprenticeship program
  • Basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

  • Prior helper or construction experience
  • Vocational or trade school coursework in electrical
  • OSHA 10
  • Interest in commercial or federal electrical work

Responsibilities

  • Support journeymen and foremen on commercial and federal electrical jobs
  • Pull and run wire, set boxes, install conduit, and terminate devices under supervision
  • Learn to read electrical drawings and understand applicable code requirements
  • Complete coursework through the ICS Chesapeake apprenticeship program (if enrolled)
  • Maintain tools, materials, and job site cleanliness
  • Follow all safety protocols on every job
  • Document work in BuildOps as you develop proficiency
