About The Position

As an electrical engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design and test the electrical hardware that supports important customer missions. In this role, you’ll turn system concepts into reliable, testable components and subsystems while working closely with a collaborative engineering team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Experience in application of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proficient with electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed circuit analysis/design
  • Creative thinker committed to staying ahead of technology trends, with strong background in test and troubleshooting
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or working knowledge in FPGA development.
  • Experience designing printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • A solid understanding of electrical circuits and hardware design principles.
