About The Position

Morley Moss, Inc. is seeking experienced Electrical General Foremen to lead new construction projects across the DFW area. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The General Foreman partners with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure successful execution aligned with company values. Safety is first and foremost. Oversee the everyday activities of your assigned personnel such as Foreman, JIW, Helper/Apprentice. Procure, assign, assess, evaluate and allocate resources, material, tools and documents required for the project. Provide the most cost-effective and efficient means available in order to produce a profitable project. Everything you say and do reflects the values of Morley Moss. GF must schedule the crew with the Project Manager and/or Senior GF/Superintendent. On smaller projects with only a designated supervisor, they will assume all the duties of a Project Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Valid TDLR Electrical Journeyman License
  • 6+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial)
  • 2+ years as a Foreman
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • CPR & First Aid Certification
  • NFPA 70E Training
  • Must use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches.
  • Capable of digging trenches, either by use of hand tools or power equipment.
  • Operate equipment, trenchers, backhoe, and lift trucks in a safe manner.
  • Practices and comprehends safe work procedures as outlined in M.M. Safety Policy Handbook, Haz-Com Policy, and Lockout/Tagout Policy.
  • Operate two (2) handed tools/equipment, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers.
  • Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission
  • Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions.
  • Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered).
  • Needs to be able to communicate effectively in English.
