About The Position
RIGHTECH is seeking an Electrical Foreman for direct hire in Atlanta, Georgia, with a start date listed as ASAP. The foreman will lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and requirements. The role includes coordinating daily work, overseeing electrical installations, collaborating with general contractors, project managers, and other trades, and monitoring safety, materials, productivity, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Coordinate installations and assign daily tasks to electricians and apprentices.
- Oversee installation of EMT, RMC, and PVC conduit; electrical panels; switchgear; transformers; lighting systems; and branch circuit wiring.
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to maintain project timelines and resolve field issues.
- Ensure compliance with the NEC and local electrical codes.
- Monitor crew productivity and enforce OSHA safety standards.
- Manage materials and equipment.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure installations meet project requirements.
