About The Position

An Electrical Foreman is a critical leadership role with a significant impact on the success of a project, ensuring that a high level of safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met. The individual typically has formal training paired with experience in the industry and has the ability to direct, supervise and troubleshoot common issues that arise on the job. Additionally, an Electrical Foreman serves as a go-between with workers and managers and serves as the main point of contact for job-site operations. In short, the Electrical Foreman is the leader or boss of a job or work site and has both specific and floating responsibilities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ field experience in a leadership position.
• Excellent knowledge of construction operations and equipment.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical systems and familiarity with blueprints.
• Good time-management skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Good math skills and basic computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with solar installations and or waste water treatment plants electrical installation is a plus.
• Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties based on workers qualifications and knowledge of their skill set monitoring the progress of a project and keeping it on track from a safety, time and budgetary standpoint.
• Manage the adherence and enforcement of AIREKO Energy Group safety protocol and take responsibility for onsite hazard awareness with the General Superintendent (GS). Implement and follow company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate electrical installation with other trades and general contractor/owner representative.
• Maintain relentless dedication in building strong, positive relationships with our customers.
• Manage, maintain, and approve all weekly forms and documentation to include but not limited to payroll, logs, T&M tickets, reports, material requests, and schedules.
• Manage team of 6- 10 electricians and subcontractors.
