About The Position

Piper Electric, a Crete United company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical projects throughout the Denver metro area. Requirements

  • Five or more years of commercial electrical construction experience.
  • Previous experience leading electrical crews as a Foreman or Lead Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and commercial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications.
  • Experience planning work, managing manpower, and tracking jobsite productivity.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project management and other trades.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Colorado Journeyman Electrician license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial electrical projects.
  • Plan daily work activities, assign responsibilities, and communicate production goals.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and scope documents.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, inspections, and project requirements.
  • Install and oversee electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and related equipment.
  • Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and labor hours.
  • Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Identify potential issues early and communicate schedule, material, or manpower needs.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, material tracking, and project documentation.
  • Conduct jobsite safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and electrical codes.
  • Train, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices.
  • Ensure work is completed correctly, safely, and according to project schedules.
