About The Position
DIHO Consulting is recruiting an experienced Electrical Field Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity with a Houston-area electrical contractor. This position is ideal for an experienced Electrical Foreman or General Foreman who is ready to advance into a broader leadership role overseeing multiple commercial and industrial electrical projects, field crews, schedules, safety, manpower, and jobsite operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience
- 3+ years as an Electrical Foreman or General Foreman
- Experience supervising multiple crews or projects
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, productivity, and project coordination
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Houston area

- Emergency power systems, generators, and UPS systems
- Electrical testing and commissioning
- Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
- OSHA and NFPA 70E safety practices
Responsibilities
- Supervise Electrical Foremen, journeyman electricians, apprentices, subcontractors, and field crews
- Oversee multiple commercial or industrial electrical projects simultaneously
- Coordinate manpower, schedules, labor productivity, materials, equipment, and inspections
- Monitor project budgets, labor hours, deadlines, and field performance
- Review electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work
- Enforce NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, company, and project-specific safety requirements
- Conduct safety meetings, quality inspections, field audits, and incident investigations
- Communicate with Project Managers, general contractors, clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and AHJs
- Train and mentor Foremen and field employees
- Travel between the company headquarters and Houston-area project sites
