About The Position

As the Electrical Facilities Design Lead, you and your team will be responsible for guiding multiple electrical facilities subsystems and their components from concept to final installation in a program that introduces new, innovative capabilities into an existing mission-critical facility infrastructure. Your technical expertise will drive the team through architecture and requirements discussions, electrical systems component selection and design — including power distribution, grounding, load calculations, arc flash analysis, and facility-wide electrical integration — testing (design verification and qualification), and integration, all while adhering to schedule and budget constraints. Your ability to effectively communicate with other disciplines and program management will facilitate an iterative, risk-based approach to developing a technical solution in a secure defense environment. This position may require up to 25% travel, as required, to customer sites, partner facilities, and field installation locations.
