About The Position

Direct Hire Madden Industrial Craftsmen is searching for an ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR to join a lightning protection company. This is an exciting opportunity to join a quickly growing company.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug & alcohol screening
• Electrical or lightning protection estimating experience
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs from construction drawings
• Experience with Bluebeam, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

• Construction Management degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Review commercial construction plans and specifications
• Prepare accurate proposals for lightning protection and grounding systems
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze project requirements
• Communicate project scope, exclusions, and pricing with customers
• Collaborate with project managers and internal teams throughout the estimating process
• Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records
