About The Position

Requirements
- 2+ years of electrical construction experience
- 2+ years of estimating experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Experience with estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids at once
- Solid communication skills-you can work across teams without things getting lost

Responsibilities
- Review plans, specs, and bid documents to fully understand project scope
- Build detailed estimates across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Identify gaps, conflicts, and opportunities before they become problems
- Work with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to build competitive bids
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when needed
- Submit accurate, complete bids-on time, every time
- Look for ways to save costs and improve efficiency without cutting corners
