About The Position

Kolb Electric, Inc. is looking for a qualified and experienced ESTIMATOR for Design Build Service Level Projects to join their dynamic team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have a background in lead electrician or field electrical work. Estimators will visit residential, commercial, and property management customers requesting solution-driven contract pricing. This role requires the ability to evaluate customer needs, formulate the scope of work, detail material lists, and estimate labor hours for service-level projects. Customer communication, vendor relationships, and staff leadership are essential. Excel and Microsoft Office skills are a plus. This position is an opportunity for experienced electricians to advance into the electrical business industry.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of Lead Electrician or Estimator experience.
Electrical experience, including working with schematics.
Familiarity with low voltage systems and NEC regulations.
Competency in electrical duties.
Basic code compliant wiring.
Circuits and lighting.
Site & LED lighting.
Ability to read prints or schematics.

Nice To Haves

Excel and Microsoft Office is a plus.
Professional license Preferred (we will assist you in acquiring).
