About The Position

Petri Electric has been powering commercial and industrial projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex since 1980. The position involves assisting with electrical takeoffs and estimate preparation for commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications, and support the estimating and preconstruction teams throughout the bidding process. This role requires maintaining organized digital project files, learning industry-standard estimating software and construction processes, and communicating effectively with various teams. The goal is to develop foundational skills in commercial electrical estimating, project coordination, and construction planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical takeoffs and estimate preparation for commercial and industrial electrical projects in Dallas, TX
• Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Support the estimating and preconstruction teams throughout the bidding process
• Maintain organized digital project files and documentation
• Learn industry-standard estimating software and construction processes
• Communicate effectively with estimators, project managers, vendors, and internal teams
