This position is responsible for participating in the installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment in support of Dominion Energy’s field facilities. Individuals in this role will build the foundational knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform Electrical Equipment tasks. They will work alongside senior team members to gain hands-on experience during construction projects and maintenance activities. Post installation, individuals in this position will engage in maintenance activities as defined by each business area’s maintenance program. Maintenance responsibilities include various activities developed to meet regulatory requirements and ensure system reliability. The position will perform tasks that support DE’s service territory, to include supporting LTC (load tap changer) maintenance, commissioning, and issue resolution, and testing and maintenance of various substation equipment (batteries, transformers, cables, breakers).
