Electrical Engineering Specialist

Lynntech, Inc.•College Station, TX

About The Position

Lynntech seeks an electronics engineer to develop electrical and embedded systems for prototype products in defense, aerospace, and medical markets. The role spans the product development lifecycle, from early-stage proof-of-concept through prototype development, testing, and qualification of production-ready designs. Work includes embedded firmware and software development, custom circuit-board design, and integration of custom and commercial components. The engineer performs technical work on multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with customers and teammates and contributing to proposal development. Work combines detailed prototype design with laboratory validation and may involve technologies ranging from breadboard proof-of-concepts to minimum viable products. The position also supports technology advancement and transition through requirements development, research, testing, verification and validation, technical documentation, qualification, field demonstrations, and transfer of designs to manufacturing. Lynntech describes potential career paths in technical expertise, technology specialization, project leadership, personnel leadership, and other leadership roles. Career growth may be shaped by the engineer’s interests, proficiency, and contributions.
