About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Engineering Program Integrator to support the Prototyping Integration Facility (PIF) of the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Center (C5ISR) at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. This role involves the integration of C5ISR operational prototypes onto various Military Weapon Systems & Platforms (air, ground & sea) and performing C5ISR prototyping, integration, and testing support for the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Futures Command, U.S. Special Forces, and the U.S. Marine Corps, based on the Warfighter's emerging needs.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related scientific/technical discipline with five (5) years of experience.
Capability to plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel.
Thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems.
Knowledge and experience with Department of Defense (DOD)/Army plans, policies, standards, and methods for acquiring and supporting military systems.
Capability to manage and control schedules and costs to ensure on-time, within-budget performance of all contractual efforts.
Capability to provide direction for operations and ensure compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures.
Capability to provide recommendations for the resolution of technical problems.
Experience in the manufacture of communications-electronics or military systems.
Knowledge of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) operation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Work as an Electrical Engineer overseeing prototype/limited manufacturing programs focused on C5ISR programs.
Provide technical leadership in the development of concepts and technical data packages.
Oversee the fabrication of electrical hardware systems.
Collaborate with other engineers to ensure quality, safety, and logistics concerns related to systems designs are met.
Assist in the preparation of test plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of design packages.
Present the results of design and test phases.
Provide estimates for work and track expenditures for customers.
Oversee the setup and operation of a full range of electrical fabrication tools in a prototype development shop.
Work from engineering design drawings and technical specifications.
Oversee the design and testing of systems such as wiring harnesses, power cables, communication cabling, and electrical component brackets.
Oversee the use of test equipment to ensure the performance of electrical cables, assemblies, and COTS components.
Plan and oversee the fabrication and construction of mechanisms, models, and instruments that fulfill engineering requirements.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Plan programs, including providing estimates for work and tracking expenditures.
Work with other engineers to design systems.
