About The Position

You will be the Electrical Engineering Manager for the PAC-3 missile program at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, with a focus on advanced combat, missile, and rocket systems. As the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading engineering activities supporting PAC-3 production across all sites. Your responsibilities will include serving as the Electrical Engineering Lead and Product Engineer, ensuring technical issues are addressed and resolved to support contractual delivery schedules, acting as Cost Account Manager (CAM) and Failure Review Board (FRB) Technical Lead, providing technical support for Failure Analysis (FA) and associated engineering evaluations, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, with a focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to engineering development processes.

Requirements

  • Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Process Improvement and Affordability experience
  • Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask
  • Strong business acumen, management influence and whole systems thinking
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
  • Full Lifecycle Development Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
  • BS Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to obtain government issued Security Clearance
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
