About The Position

Capri USA Group, Inc. has multiple openings for an Electrical Engineering Manager based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The role provides technical leadership for electrical engineering development, including review and approval of designs, support for camera and ECU design, and resolution of design, validation, and customer-return issues. The manager ensures engineering deliverables meet project milestones and comply with the ZF development process and milestone gate reviews. The position supports sales and new-business acquisition by developing bills of materials and engineering, development, and design estimates, and by providing technical guidance for cross-functional business-case inputs. It also sets annual electrical hardware goals and continuous-improvement and efficiency initiatives, and serves as the technical owner and problem-resolution champion for camera and ECU electrical topics. The manager provides guidance to direct reports on design reviews, troubleshooting, and customer support; supports system and software architecture reviews on hardware interfaces, DFMEA, and DPV&R; and works with R&D centers around the world. The role also includes employee development, ongoing performance discussions, and annual performance reviews. A hybrid schedule combining in-office work and telecommuting is available.
