Electrical Engineering Internship
About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a motivated and dedicated college student to join our team as an Electrical Engineering Intern next summer. This paid internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in electrical design projects, learn from experienced mentors, and contribute to a variety of projects including commercial and industrial building design, healthcare facilities, water/wastewater treatment plants, and site lighting. Interns will gain hands-on experience in lighting photometric design, preparation of construction plans and specifications, REVIT 3D drafting, supporting engineers, and collaborating with team members.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an accredited university
- Major: Electrical Engineering
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Lighting photometric design
- Preparation of design plans and specs for construction
- REVIT 3D drafting
- Supporting Engineers in completing project deliverables
- Collaborating with team members on new ideas/innovations
