About The Position

Windsor is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented engineering student for a part-time internship with our electrical engineering team. The ideal candidate would be interested in working between 8-40 hours per week out of our Ridgefield, WA office with exact schedule dependent on candidate availability and workload available. This role is perfect for a junior or senior in an electrical engineering bachelor program looking gain experience in the world of MEP consulting. This internship would start as soon as the candidate is available and go through the summer. For the right candidate, there are opportunities to continue part-time work during the school year or join full-time after graduation. This is not guaranteed, and options are evaluated at the end of the summer.

Requirements

Enrolled as a junior or senior working towards bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related Engineering discipline (ABET-accredited preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and contractor interface.
Strong Word, Excel and powerpoint skills for supporting project leads and coordinators with preparing project documents and calculations.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
Ability to work in outdoor field conditions and construction environments on an as-needed basis.

Represent Windsor positively both inside and outside the firm.
Manage your time to accomplish tasks within the hours allocated.
