About The Position

GHD is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join its Design & Delivery Organization for the upcoming summer. The intern will assist Engineers and Project Managers with a variety of tasks, focusing on Power System projects. The role is part of a dynamic, energetic, and high-performing team and offers varied work. The workplace follows a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once and determine priorities.

Nice To Haves

• AutoCAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Make comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
• Gather and compile data.
• Perform engineering studies.
• Assist with CADD drawings.
• Develop facilities layouts, schematics, and schedules.
• Perform design calculations.
• Conduct cost estimates.
