About The Position

Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering students to join our Boca/Delray, Florida (FL) office. This is not a remote position. The intern will utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients. They will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. The intern will develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. The role involves performing general mechanical engineering tasks supporting various project managers as required, and supporting our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team specifically working on large scale HVAC design. Project types will vary but may include Airports, Facilities, Universities, and more.

Requirements

  • In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)
