Intern, Electrical Engineering

Gray AES is looking to add an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Lexington, KY office for Summer 2027. Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Revit experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.
- Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.
- Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.
- Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
- Other duties as assigned
