About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Engineering Intern for their Dallas office during Fall/Winter of 2026/27. This internship offers an opportunity to learn more about electrical, lighting, and telecom systems for buildings and industrial facilities, increase proficiency in AutoCAD, and work in a professional, fast-paced environment. The company provides multi-discipline engineering services, corrosion control, commissioning, and project/construction management, with a strong emphasis on design excellence and a progressive, innovative culture.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program at a nationally recognized, accredited college.
- Local students only.
- Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate or masters electrical engineering degree.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of AutoCAD.
- Ability to work up to 30 hours during the school break.
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
- No paid interview travel or relocation expenses are offered.
